Chief Creative Officer
Derek joined Dunham+Company in 2003 because he’s passionate about using his creative skills to help Christian ministries fulfill their call. He ensures the unique brand perspective of each organization is captured and communicated well, and through his leadership, he works to see every desired outcome fulfilled.
Prior to working with Dunham+Company, Derek worked in real estate marketing. He sensed a desire to use his gifts to serve nonprofits, which led him to us. He brings nearly two decades of experience to his role as Chief Creative Officer. Derek works with our team and our clients to make sure they achieve consistency and impact across all of their creative needs.
Derek oversees the branding and marketing offering for our clients, and provides leadership to a global team of copywriters and designers who execute our clients’ projects. He leads each member of his team towards a remarkably high standard, which enables us to give our clients best-in-class work. He also provides strategic leadership and oversight to the advertising and marketing for Dunham+Company.
Derek has a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. He and his wife have two daughters and a son.
